Magna Powertrain’s die cast oil pans are structurally superior to formed pans, since it contributes to additional engine rigidity. They also facilitate the direct installation of engine components such as A/C compressors, differentials, engine parts and sensors. The casting process makes it possible to include special functions such as passageways for axles, irregular geometry, oil pumps and mass balance systems.
